The 2018 Community Outreach Committee is super excited for the year to come! We’ve picked some AMAZING charities to get involved with this year, and we look forward to everyone’s participation in giving back to our community.
We are starting off the year by participating in the Best Buddies Friendship Walk, which supports our local Nevada chapter of Best Buddies. Best Buddies is an international non-profit organization that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendship and integrated employment/leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The IDD community that Best Buddies serves includes, but is not limited to, people with Down syndrome, autism, Fragile X, Williams syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury and other undiagnosed disabilities. CREW’s president, Natalie Wainwright, sits on the board of Best Buddies, and our community service committee couldn’t think of a better organization to support.
